Writing up and sharing improvement case studies is an arduous but important task. Getting them published is even more arduous because the traditional academic peer-reviewed journals are simply not designed for sharing improvement stories.

So, some years ago a colleague and I created the Journal of Improvement Science to provide a quick, easy, free, innovative way to share improvement case studies, and to ensure high-quality as well using a process of sponsorship.

There are now about fifty, high-quality, e-published case studies in JOIS now that represent a treasure trove of evidence and experience, and the number are expanding all the time. Registration is free, downloads of the full pdfs are free, and registered users are automatically notified of new case studies when they are published.
